On a encore beaucoup de choses à découvrir sur nos héros, dans la saison 3 de Once Upon a time. Et justement, les producteurs de la série ont bien l'intention de nous en raconter un peu plus sur le passé des personnages. Ca commencera dès l'épisode 2, qui sera centré sur Snow et Charming et dévoilera ce qu'il s'est passé entre leur réveil après la levée de la malédiction et leur rencontre avec Regina sur le champ de bataille.

Once Upon a time se penchera ensuite, dans l'épisode 3, sur le cas de la fée Clochette, et son origine, en posant la question : "comment fabrique-t-on une fée ?" Dans la foulée, on devrait avoir droit à un épisode spécial Rumple, ainsi qu'une histoire racontant comment Crochet est devenu un pirate.

Enfin, pour voir la Petite Sirène, il faudra attendre l'épisode 6, justement intitulé Ariel, qui introduira la belle des mers, mais aussi son amoureux, Eric, un tout nouveau personnage en train d'être casté. La saison 3 de Once Upon a Time devrait débuter logiquement le dimanche 29 septembre prochain, sur la chaîne américaine ABC.

The Little Mermaid is coming to Once Upon a Time Season 3... and we couldn’t be more excited to have the spirited redhead as part of our OUaT world. Actress Joanna Garcia Swisher will make her debut in Season 3, Episode 6: “Ariel,” and show producers have revealed new details about what we can expect from OUaT‘s latest fairy tale princess.

"She's somebody who wants to see the world," executive producer Edward Kitsis tells TV Guide. "That spirit will run in her DNA still, but we'll meet her in a surprising way."

Edward stayed mum on what exactly that “surprising” debut would be, but he did reveal that Ariel’s introduction will take place in Neverland. We’ll meet other mermaids, too, but don’t expect them to be nearly as nice as Ariel! Also on deck to make their OUaT debut are dreamy Prince Eric and Ariel’s enemy, Ursula.

What’s more, Ariel will have a connection to a character we’ve already met... but producers aren’t giving any clues as to which one. (If we had to venture a guess, though, we'd go with either Peter Pan or Hook. Thoughts?)

Though we’re thrilled to get the chance to meet Ariel, we do find it a bit frustrating that she won’t be swimming our way until the sixth episode of the season. How on earth are we supposed to wait that long?

Sigh. Don’t mind us... we’ll just be over here in the corner, talking to our pet flounder, Flounder, and humming “Kiss the Girl” to ourselves a million times. Waiting is hard.

ABC's modern fairytale series "Once Upon a Time" is returning to TV screens this fall with a host of new characters. Some of the characters being introduced, like Peter Pan, may not exactly be like their classic fairytale personas.

The "boy who never grew up" may be more intimidating than his happy-go-lucky image from the original story. Rumple said that Peter Pan is someone "we should all fear."
Series co-creator Adam Horowitz told TVLine that there is a reason Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) warns about Peter. "There's a history between those two," Horowitz said. "There is a big reason why he said if you're going to be scared of someone, this is the guy to be scared of."

Yet, Rumple also respects the lost boy. "When you meet Pan, you're going to see a very, very, very clever person," said co-creator Eddy Kitsis. "And if there's one thing Rumple admires, it's somebody who has game."

According to E! Online, fans will meet another one of Neverland's lost boys, Devin, in episode five. Devin is often ignored, and is therefore competitive with the other boys.

As for the characters in the real world (or as for the fairytale characters' real-world personas), Regina (Lana Parrilla) will have a new love interest. Horowitz said that her "special someone" becomes "a part of the show very quickly, but in a way you don't expect." The character will appear within the first five episodes of the new season.

Another character joining the collection of classic fairytale creatures is Ariel, who will be played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher. Swisher, known for her roles on "Reba" and the ABC sitcom "Better with You" will first make an appearance on the show by stealing a fork from one of the seven dwarves, then diving back into the ocean.

As for other main plot lines, the upcoming season will include a number of flashbacks to fill in characters' back stories. Episode two will focus on Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), backtracking to when Snow White first woke up from the sleeping curse and encountered Regina/The Evil Queen. Episode three will focus on Tinkerbell's (Rose McIver) origin.

The new season will also cover more of Rumple's past, how Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) became a pirate and the introduction and story of Ariel.

As for what not to expect this season? The show will not take viewers down the yellow brick road. Despite a recent "Wizard of Oz" craze on both the small and big screen, TVLine reports that the show will not be featuring Dorothy and her hapless cohorts.

"We've always loved Oz - we've talked about it, we've hinted at it," Horowitz said. "And if and when we get to it, we have the way we want to do it. And if we're lucky enough to be able to do it, we'll just go our way."

And if the creators decide to travel to Oz, it may be truer to the story than some recent iterations of the classic tale.

"It just goes to our approach to all these things, which is about honoring the source material and trying to do something new to it without reinventing the wheel," Horowitz added. "We've tried to put our spin on characters like Snow White and Prince Charming while still allowing the audience to have the memories they love."

Season three of "Once Upon a Time" premieres Sunday, September 29 on ABC.

Fans are excited that they will finally be getting to see a beloved fairytale character, Ariel, in the upcoming third season of "Once Upon a Time." On Aug. 21 Wetpaint reports that Ariel will be making her big splash to the small screen in the sixth episode of the season. While some fans are upset that she won't be swimming in earlier in the season, there are going to be over a dozen episodes so it is still relatively early in.

While there are few details about exactly how Ariel will come to be on the show, dhow runner Eddy Kitsis says that she will be coming to Neverland, presumably in Mermaid Lagoon, where other mermaids will also be introduced, but they aren't as nice as Ariel. Anyone that has seen the famous movie or read the children's books know that Ariel's sisters aren't very nice and are rather snobby, which we can only presume the rest of the mermaids to be. Kitsis also confirms that other "Little Mermaid" pals will be joined by Ariel, namely her arch nemesis, Ursela, and Prince Eric.

What fans might find the most surprising is that Ariel will have a surprising connection to a Neverland character that we already know. The most logical choices are Captain Hook, or Peter Pan. According to the Pan story, the mermaids loved Peter and all fancied him. While Hook is the more handsome choice in the show, he isn't the greatest of guys so his connection would be surprising.

The third season of "Once Upon a Time" is promising to be another exciting trip into the world of classic fairytale characters and their human counterparts. TVLine reports that series co-creator Eddy Kitsis said that season three's eleven episode trip to Neverland will be like a cinematic journey.

Kitsis referred to it "as its own season, like one giant movie."

"And like any adventure movie, there's romance, there are things that are terrifying, and there are things that are heartbreaking," Kitsis continued. "That was always our goal, to have that big, summer movie feel." Kitsis further added that there will be "uplift, romance, action and quieter moments."

Co-creator Adam Horowitz added, "The best kind of roller coaster is the one that goes through all of that stuff."

Horowitz also shared that, like many things that are too good to be true, the magic that Robin Hood (Tom Ellis) used to heal Marian (Christie Laing) came at a price. "There's a price - and a debt," Horowitz said.

E! Online reports that British actor Sean Maguire has joined the cast as the Prince of Thieves for season three, replacing Ellis, who was not able to return for the third season. Although Robin Hood only appeared in one episode in season two, he quickly earned a spot on Rumplestilskin's (Robert Carlyle) list of enemies. Robin Hood will have at least a four-episode arc, in which he will reaffirm his alliance with Belle (Emilie De Ravin).

In the new season of "Once Upon a Time," Snow White will once again showcase skills that contradict her helpless "damsel in distress" persona from the classic fairytale. "Once's" Snow is the opposite: a tough, bow-and-arrow slinging warrior.

TVLine reports that "Once Upon a Time" season three will have a lot of Snow (Ginnfer Goodwin) and Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) scenes. Although Mary Margaret, Snow's Storybrooke counterpart, will not be able to bond with Emma, Snow and Emma will bond in the upcoming season, especially when it comes to banding together to fight Peter Pan and his Lost Boys. Their mission will once again bring out the aggressive, bow-and-arrow toting Snow White. Series co-creator Eddy Kitsis spoke about the dynamic.
"In a lot of ways, Mary Margaret may not be able to bond with Emma, but Bandit Snow and Emma have a lot in common," Kitsis said. "David and Mary Margaret last year were saying, 'We are both,'" Kitsis continued. "But this year it's, 'We need Snow and Charming.' That's what this mission requires."

La saison 3 de Once Upon a time se dévoile petit à petit et une nouvelle bande-annonce promo nous offre un aperçu de Peter Pan... enfin presque. On ne voit pas vraiment le personnage, qui sera le méchant cette année. Mais on aperçoit en revanche son ombre menaçante, ses yeux luisant dans le noir, nous montrant bien que Once Upon a time proposer une vision beaucoup plus dark de Peter Pan.

Par ailleurs, la chaîne ABC vient de publier le résumé officiel de la saison 3, qui annonce : "Premier ordre du jour cette saison : sauver Henry. Mais Neverland est un endroit beaucoup plus sombre que ce que l'on pourrait penser. Et pour que nos héros puissent accomplir leur mission, ils devront faire face à un ennemi plus puissant que le "Dark One".

"Qu'est-ce que Peter Pan veut à Henry ? Nos héros réussiront-ils à mettre de côté leurs différences et à travailler ensemble ? Aurora, Mulan et le prince Phillip pourront-ils soigner Neal ? De nouveaux personnages de contes de fées seront révélés et de vieilles connaissances vont revenir..."

On Aug. 29 Carter Matt shares that the mysterious connection that Ariel may have with another character that was spoiled earlier this week could be Regina Mills, the Evil Queen.

Fans may not remember, unless they have been marathoning the past seasons in preparation for the upcoming season, that in episode 12 of season one of "Once Upon a Time" entitled "Skin Deep," Regina visits Rumpelstiltskin after he releases Belle and says that she wants to make a deal with a mermaid.

There is no saying what kind of a deal that Regina would make with a mermaid, but it does allude to the fact that she already knows at least one and it is more than likely Ariel. However, Edward Kitsis has already shared that there will be more than one, they just won't be as nice as Ariel.

Ariel is expected to make her first appearance in the self titled episode three of "Once Upon a Time" season three called "Ariel." At this point, fans are unsure as to how big of a story arc she will have or whether she plays an integral roll in the overall story, but she will be in-depth enough that we will meet Ursela as well as some of the other mermaids that may be Ariel's sister if the story follows the Disney version.

Once upon a time a été quelque peu radin avec les fidèles de la série, cet été. Si la promotion a été intense, pour la saison 3, elle n'a offert que peu d'images inédites, des nouveaux épisodes. La toute nouvelle bande-annonce promo, qui se dévoile ci-dessous, livre enfin quelques aperçus de ce qui nous attend, à la fin du mois, dans les nouveaux épisodes de Once Upon a time. Attention spoilers !!

On découvre notamment la bande des héros sur le bateau de Hook, qui cherche la route de Neverland. Emma se fait les muscles dans la cale du navire avant de commencer la baston, tandis que Charming est obligé de tirer sur de vilaines sirènes, qui veulent attaquer l'improbable équipage...

Par ailleurs, on découvre une scène montrant que l'association des ennemis d'hier ne sera pas forcément facile, avec un face à face tendu entre Emma et Regina : "Aide moi à récupérer mon fils, où dégage de mon chemin", lance la première à la seconde.

If you have been waiting to finally see some footage from “Once Upon a Time” season 3, we definitely understand. ABC has been really keeping everyone hanging in that regard, and has not exactly been generous with new footage.

However, you may at least let out a small “yay” after watching the promo below. You can see a few seconds of season 3 footage in here, including some struggles at sea, Emma Swan training for a fight, and some more general pirate awesomeness. We wish it was all new material, but instead we have a few seconds of Comic-Con in there along with some other clips of stuff that has already been shown off on several occasions already. (We get it: The gang is off to Neverland.)
What ABC really seems to be hyping up this summer is something similar to what co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have also said from time to time: The show really carries with it some pretty universal appeal, and the upcoming episodes are designed above all else to feel like you are watching the equivalent of a summer movie every week. Given that you don’t have to pay $50 to take your family to the movies with this arrangement, we like to consider this very much a score. We just hope that along the travels to Neverland this year, the spirit of fun and excitement does not come at the expense of the story, or to the characters that we have come to know since the beginning

A la recherche de Neverland .

Plus que quatre semaines avant le début de la saison 3 de Once Upon A Time. La promo ci-dessous reste assez avare sur les évènements qui se dérouleront lors de season premiere mais elle continue de teaser sur Neverland et la recherche d’Henry. Cependant il n’y a pas encore d’image de Neverland ni de Peter Pan disponible. On a tout de même une aperçu et un teasing de l’éternel rivalité entre Regina et Emma. Elles ont toutes les deux un but commun, retrouver Henry, mais les conflits continueront entre les deux femmes.

ABC joue aussi sur la popularité de la série en incluant quelques images de séances de dédicaces avec les fans de la série.

Gill McKinney a joué plusieurs petits rôles dans différentes séries telles que "Supernatural" en tant qu’Henry Winchester, "Grey’s Anatomy", "Castle" ou encore Friday Night Lights. Son rôle dans « Once Upon A Time » est donc celui du Prince Éric, connu pour être l’amour d’Ariel, la petite sirène, incarnée par Joanna Garcia. Les deux personnages feront leurs débuts dans l’épisode 6 de la saison 3 dont le titre est tout simplement « Ariel ». «Once Upon A Time » reprend le 29 septembre prochain sur la chaîne américaine ABC.

'Once Upon a Time' season 3 premiere photos and spoilers: Trouble on the ship?
The "Once Upon A Time" season 3 premiere is still a few weeks away, but on Friday, Sept. 6, ABC released promotional photos teasing episode 1, "Heart of the Truest Believer."

In this first "Once Upon a Time" season 3 episode, Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin), David (Josh Dallas), Regina (Lana Parrilla), Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) and Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) enter Neverland to search for Henry (Jared Gilmore), who was taken by Greg (Ethan Embry) and Tamara (Sonequa Martin-Green) in the season 2 finale. Once there, they're greeted by a school of not-too-friendly mermaids who threaten to end their search before it begins. Meanwhile, Henry finds himself on the run form the Lost Boys with another escapee from Peter Pan's encampment, and Neal (Michael Raymond-James), still recovering from the wounds that could have killed him, travels through the Enchanted Forest with Mulan (Jamie Chung) to try to find out Emma and Henry's fates.

The "Heart of the Truest Believer" photos in the slideshow all show the group still on Hook's ship, and Emma's in two very different situations. In one, Hook has a couple of things to offer her, while in the other, her parents have reason to be worried about her. What happened to Emma?

Le premier épisode de la saison 3 de Once Upon A Time se dévoile un peu plus à travers des images. En galerie bous retrouverez donc David et Mary Margaret venir en aide à quelqu’un mais surtout Crochet et Emma qui ont l’air de se rapprocher de plus en plus. Cette scène devrait être intéressante à voir.

Dans ce premier épisode intitulé Heart of the Truest Believer, Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Regina, Mr Gold et Crochet arrivent à Neverland à la recherche de Henry. Ils sont alors accueillis de manière peu civile par des sirènes qui les menacent de mettre fin à leurs recherches avant même qu’elle n’aient commencé. De son côté, Henry fuit les Enfants Perdus avec une autre personne qui s’est échappée du camp de Peter Pan. Quant à Neal, il se remet de ses blessures et voyage à travers la Forêt Enchantée avec Mulan pour découvrir ce qui est arrivé à Emma et Henry.
